CBSE Class X Hindi Syllabus
Hindi Syllabus of Class X is divided into 2 parts. The First part is about the understanding of language and grammar and the second part is about writing and the questions from the book.

- Internal Assessment (SA + Periodic Tests + Notebook Submission + Subject Enrichment Activities)

Unit-Wise Syllabus of Class 10 Hindi
- पठन कौशल गद्यांस व काव्यांश पर शीर्षक का चुनाव, विषय -वस्तु का बोध,भाषिक बिंदु/ संरचना आदि पर लघु ऐव्म अति लघु प्रशन
- अपठित गद्यांस (200 से 250 शब्द)(2*4) (1*1)-9 अंक
- अपठित काव्यांश – 6 अंक
- व्याकरन के लिए निर्धारित विषयों पर विषय -वस्तु का बोध, भासिक
बिंदु/संरचना आदि पर प्रश्न पूछे जाएँगे। (1*15)
- शब्द व पद में अंतर (2 अंक)
- रचना के आधार पर वाक्य रूपांतर (3 अंक)
- समास (4 अंक)
- अशुद्धि शोधन (4अंक)
- मुहावरे (2अंक)
- पाठ्यपुस्तक स्पर्श भाग -2 व पूरक पाठ्यपुस्तक संचयन भाग -2
अ) गद्य खंड -
- विद्यार्थियों की साहित्य को पढ़कर समझ पाने की क्षमता के आकलन पर आधारित पाठ्यपुस्तक स्पर्श के गद्य पाठों के आधार पर लघु प्रश्न (2+2+1)
- हिंदी के माध्यम से अपने अनुभवो को लिखकर सहज अभिव्यक्ति कर पाने की क्षमता का आकलन करने पर आधारित पाठ्य पुस्तक स्पर्श के निर्धारित पाठों पर एक लघु निबंधात्यतमक प्रश्न (1*5)
ब) काव्य खंड –
- कविताओं के विषय, काव्य बोध, बोध व सराहना को सरल शब्दों में अभिव्यक्ति करने की क्षमता पर आधारित पाठ्यपुस्तक स्पर्श के काव्य खंड के आधार पर लघु प्रश्न (2+2+1)
- कविताओं के अपने अनुभवों को लिखकर सहज अभिव्यक्ति कर पाने की क्षमता का आकलन करने पर एक निबंधात्मक प्रश्न (1*5)
स) पूरक पाठ्यपुस्तक संचय भाग -2
पाठों पर आधारित मूल्य के प्रति संवेदनशीलता पर आधारित
पूरक पुस्तिका संचयन के निर्धारित पाठों से एक मूल्य परक
प्रश्न (1*5)
- लेखन
अ) संकेत बिंदुओं पर आधारित विषयों ऐवम व्यवहारिक जीवन से
जुड़े हुए विषयों पर 80 से 100 शब्दों में अनुच्छेद (1*5)
ब) अभिव्यक्ति की क्षमता पर केन्द्रित एक ओपचारिक विषय पर पत्र
(1*5)
स) एक विषय 20– 30 शब्दों में सूचना लेखन (1*5)
द) किसी एक स्थिति पर 50 शब्दों के अंतर्गत सम्वाद लेखन (1*5)
ई) विषय में सम्बधित 25–50 शब्दों के अंतर्गत विज्ञापन लेखन (1*5)

Advice to Students of Class 10
The Question paper of Hindi is too lengthy for the period of three hours, if you don’t manage the time effectively, you are most likely to leave many questions unattempted. There are some approaches which you can follow-
- Solve the high marks weightage question first and then proceed towards short type and very short type question. This way you would not miss out important questions and there will be enough time to attempt short type questions.
- The second approach to attempt the question paper is to allot 1:30 hour for all short type question holding 1, 2, 3 marks and remaining 1:30 hour for 5 marks questions.
