iii. Descriptive Narrative (the place you have visited, events) or Newspaper Report Writing (Word Limit: 150 – 200 words)

Unit-V: Grammar
i. Editing
ii. Dialogue completion
iii. Transformation (Interchange of Simple, complex and Compound)
(Topics: Subject-verb-concord, Verb Forms, Preposition, Conjunction, Modals, and Determiners)

Unit-VI: Comprehension
i. One passage for comprehension (maximum 400 – 500 words)

Unit-VII: Project
One project in 800 to 1000 words
i) Survey of the state of anyone Elementary School in your locality. The survey must cater to the information on the number of students – boys and girls, their economic conditions, what are the facilities available for the teachers and learners; What are the facilities needed for them etc.(attach photos of the survey)
ii) Temples of Tripura
iii) Tourism in Tripura
iv) Enlist and describe the major characteristics of the Shakespearean Comedy. Initiate the project with the brief introduction of William Shakespeare and his works
v) Quote at least three(03) poems written on the river(s) and prepare a report drawing out their similarities and dissimilarities

 

N.B.:
1) Internal choice: There is no overall choice in the paper. However, there is one (01) internal choice in Unit-III of 6 marks weightage, and in Unit IV two(02) internal choice of 10 marks weightage.
2) Questions should be set covering each unit.
