NTSE 2019 Application Form; How to Apply, Documents Required
NTSE exam 2019 Registration will start from Second week of September 2018. Students can fill the application form offline after downloading it from the official website. Students can also access their application form from the office of Liaison Officer. Different application form for stage 1 and 2 need to be filled. NTSE exam stage 1, will be held on 03 to 04 November, 2018 and stage 2, exam will be conducted on 18 May, 2019
Application fee may apply for NTSE Stage I as per state policies. It must be confirmed while collecting the NTSE Application form. There is no application fee for NTSE Stage II. The fee has to be paid in the offline mode only, the details of which have been further specified in the article along with other important details related to NTSE registration.
Upon successful registration of NTSE, students will be able to avail their admit card. Candidates must submit their Application Form after filling all the details and get it signed by the Principal. They can post the NTSE application form to the Liaison officer. Minimum eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by students applying for NTSE. Applicants must not be more than 18 years as on 1st July, 2019.
Applicants must fill all the information carefully and check it before submitting the NTSE application form. No corrections are allowed after submission.

NTSE 2019 Application Dates
NTSE Application process will begin from Second week of September 2018. NTSE stage-1 Exam 2018-19 is scheduled in the month of November 2018 while that for NTSE stage 2 will take place in May 2019. Given below are the important dates for NTSE 2018-19 candidates can check:

NTSE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must go through the eligibility criteria before filling the NTSE application form. If a student does not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be considered for the NTSE admission process. Given below is the eligibility criteria set by NSTE for school and graduation students.
NTSE Eligibility for school students:
- Applicant must be appearing for class 10 exam from a recognized school.
- Applicants who have applied for class 10 through open learning can appear for the NTSE exam 2018-19.
- Age must be less than 18 years.
- All standards from class 1 to class 10 must be cleared.
NTSE Eligibility Criteria for graduation students:
- Applicants must be appearing for class 12 from a recognized school.
- Class 11 exam must have been cleared without backlogs.
- No backlogs in class 12 exam final results declared by CBSE or state boards.
- Class 10 exams must have been cleared with a minimum of 60% marks.
- No age limit is defined.
How to Fill NTSE 2019 Application Form?
Candidates can fill the NTSE Application form offline after downloading it from the official website. Applicants can also access their NTSE Application form from the office of Liaison Officer.
After filling all details in NTSE Application Form students can submit the same via post to the address of State Liaison Officer. Applicants can also submit their application form by visiting physically at the address of liaison officer. Given below are the steps applicants can follow to fill application form
Step 1: Registration and Downloading Application Form
- Visit to the official website of NTSE, www.ncert.nic.in
- Do click on link ‘Apply for NTSE 2019’
- Applicants have to fill the following credentials:
- Applicant Name
- Applicant Date of birth
- Applicant Mobile Number
- Applicant Email ID
- Applicant Educational Qualification etc.
- After filling all the credentials click on ‘submit’
- Download the NTSE Application Form 2018-19
- Applicants can also get their NTSE Application Form from the office of Liaison Officers
Step 2: Filling Details in NTSE Application form
Applicants have to fill the following details in the NTSE application form in their own handwriting:
- Basic details, Category, Address and Educational details, etc.
- Applicants have to affix their photograph and signature in the provided space.
Step 3: Applicants have to attest NTSE Application Form 2018-19 from their Principal.
Step 4: Application fee as specified by the state/UT needs to be remitted by the Applicants.
Step 5: Applicants can submit their NTSE Application Form in the Liaison Office via post or visiting the address of liaison officer.

Documents to Be Attached with NTSE Form
- Following is the list of documents that students must possess at the time of NTSE application form filling.
- Colored photograph not older than 6 months from the date of NTSE application form filling.
- Dark background.
- No goggles only simple spectacles.
- No makeup in the photograph clicked for the NTSE application form.
- Hair must be properly tied.
- Photograph must be clicked in school uniform.
- Indian nationals do not have to produce any document with the NTSE application form.
- Candidates of Indian origin who are doing class X from abroad, have to prove their Indian citizenship, so they have to attach a copy of class XI marks.
