Admission to CIS is open to all students, whether a foreign national or one of Indian nationality. As CIS maintains a very good teacher to student ratio (approximately 1:10, one of the best in the world), class sizes are restricted. Preference is given to expatriates, foreign passport holders, and non-resident Indians, in that order.
Our academic year is from June to May. The threshold admissions are at the Pre-Nursery Class eligible for three-year olds. To maintain the unique character of CIS, certain numbers of seats are kept reserved for admissions to various classes throughout the year.

The best way to truly experience the culture & community of Calcutta International School is to visit the campus. It is just 15 km from kolkata Airport, 15 min from Salt Lake & conveniently accessible by car and bus.

Tuition fees are billed and payable quarterly. The fees should be paid within one month from bill date, unless otherwise specified, failing which, 10% of the tuition fee will be levied as fine for every month of delay.
