Application Process

Admission to Grade 11 - for IBDP and AS levels (CIE) - at AIS is a four step process:

1. Parents fill up the online application form and pay the application fee
2. Students appear for the entrance test. The entrance test for Grade 11 admissions contains a mix of objective questions, multiple choice answers, and written descriptive responses. The entrance test dates for Grade 11 admissions are:
   1. December 16, 2017
   2. January 6, 2018
   3. Feb 3rd, 2018
   4. Mar 31st, 2018
3. Students clearing the entrance exam are invited for a personal interaction with the school admissions team along with their parents. Admissions decision is communicated within 7 days of the interaction.
4. Parents submit the required documents and the registration fees to confirm admission within 3 days of the admission decision being communicated.

Documents to be brought along for the interaction session:

• Photo copy of the parents’ final degree certificate
• An official copy of the student’s scholastic record
• Bonafide certificate
• A copy of the child's birth certificate

Copies of documents may be certified by a notary, a gazetted officer or the principal of the school. Wherever a photocopy is submitted, the original document should be made available upon request.

Following documents need to be submitted to confirm the admission:

• Admission Acceptance Form duly signed by both parents
• Admission Fee
• The candidate should submit the official school transcript/report card of the grade they are studying in.
• Candidates should also produce their passed and promoted certificate / school transcript / report card of the previous grade on the school letterhead with the official sign and seal of the school.
• Original School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate will have to be provided by candidates at the time of payment of fees or before the academic year begins or before the candidate begins the school term.

Applicants furnishing false, incomplete, or misleading information will be subjected to rejection or dismissal without refund.
