Meghalaya National-Men's-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Exam 2017-18: It is thus informed that the National Instrument-May-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) examination was conducted on November 04, 2017 for class V8.

The selected candidates are requested to open individual / joint accounts in any nationalized bank, which has core banking facilities and submit the bills filled completely by the school principal as fully certified.

Read Instruction carefully before filling up the Application Form.

• Use only Blue or Black Ball Point Pens. Do not mark or write outside of a box written in a capital letter
• Leave a box blank between two words. Limit your name and/or address within the available space for this. Please click here for the example below.
• Cross (X) is only one of the appropriate boxes in items 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 21
• Write the code number in item 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 as the given overlay.
• The responsibility of the candidate and the school principal is to submit a form filled with the state-related officer before the deadline. No request to cancel the delay in submission will be considered as to whether it is due to the mistake of the candidate or the principal teacher/headmaster of his / her institute.
• Incomplete or defensive applications should be rejected.

Eligibility to appear at the examination

• Candidates should currently read in class VIII in Government / Government Assisted / Local Body School
• Candidates should score at least 55% marks (50% for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribe) in Class VII Enhancement Examination.
• Candidates studying in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya and residential schools run by the Central and State Government are not entitled to scholarship under the NMMS scheme.
• Parental annual income from all sources should not be more than 50,000 / - (one lakh fifty thousand).
