Overview:

CBSE or the Central Board of Secondary Education is one of the oldest and most sought-after board of education in India. Despite the fact that many States in India have formed their own Boards of Education, CBSE stills has its hold as the most popular one among students and parents as well. It is the largest Board in India which provides student-centric education which gives equal importance to curricular and extra-curricular activities.

How to Check the CBSE Class 10 Result:

The students can check the result in two ways:

Online:

  1. Head on to the official website of CBSE Class 10th results at cbseresults.nic.in
  2. Enter your Roll No., DOB and School No. as they are mentioned on your admit card.
  3. Click Submit
  4. If you entered the details correctly, your result will be displayed
  5. Check it and take print-outs for future reference

 

SMS:

To check your CBSE result via SMS, send an SMS in the format and to the number specified here:

Grading System:

CBSE included the grading system in class 10 in the year 2010. It was introduced to put the students with small difference in percentage in the same band and avoid comparison.

The grading system followed by the CBSE Board is as follows:

Previous Year Results:

The CBSE class 10th results for the academic year 2022 were declared on 11th March, 2022 for Term 1 & for Term 2 declared on 22nd July, 2022.

Here is some more insight in the 2022 results:

The pie chart gives the comparative overview of the overall CBSE results of 2016 and 2017. The result saw a decrease of 3.15% as compared to 2016.

The gender-wise performance of students saw a drop as compared to the performance in the 2016 result.

The Trivandrum region had the highest pass percentage of about 99.85%
