Tips for preparation to maximize the Score

Being a Student of class X is a high time that you should give a proper shape to your preparation. The Class X science is the easy one though many students face difficulties in scoring good mark. Some preparation to score good marks-

      1. Make a proper timetable and follow the timetable because you need to be punctual not in your studies but in other leisure activities also. Follow a proper timetable for every day and try to finish your syllabus on time to boost your confidence in the exam.
      2. A clear understanding of the syllabus and exam pattern is very helpful in order to score good marks.
      3. Science is mainly divided into three parts- Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Work on the chemical reactions, it is very helpful in scoring good marks. Diagrams are very important in Biology, so don’t forget to learn all the diagrams. To Score good marks in Physics, the formulas must be on your tips.
      4. Solve practice paper and previous year paper in limited time.
      5. Determine your weak areas and work on them.

Paper Attempting Tips

After the preparation of exam, there are many to keep in mind while attempting the Question paper-

      1. Utilize the First fifteen minutes very effectively because the first fifteen minutes are for reading the question paper. Try to read all the question in the given time and categorize them as easy, moderate and tough.
      2. Keep a close eye on the time in the examination hall, don’t waste too much time on any question and don’t pressurize yourself for time management if the question paper is not much longer.
      3. In the long Answer type questions mainly in Physics, try to answer Step by step because as described by CBSE, there are marks for the step-wise answer. So, even if you are not able to answer correctly, writing the known steps will help you to score the little bit.
      4. Stay confident and positive during the exam.
      5. Try to attempt the high weightage questions first.
      6. Re-check the answer sheet at the end of the exam.
