State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has released applications and applications for the Kerala National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2017. State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCER), Kerala has released the results of National Talent Search Examination 2017-18. Candidates can check online results on the official website. Answer Key
A revised answer key has been issued for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE). The candidate can guess his score with the help of the answer key. Candidates can check the answer key given below.

Kerala NTSE Admit Card 2017
The admit card of NTSE was issued by the governing body, educational research and training state council. SCERT released it online at the official website, scert.kerala.gov.in.
After the NETEE Entrance Letter is issued, the candidates need to download it and make a hard copy of it. Downloaded entrance is to be taken to the examination room. If the candidate fails to produce it, he will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Eligibility Criteria for NTSE 2017
Candidates must complete the eligibility criteria for the exam before applying. Ineligible candidates will not be admitted in any situation.
• NTSE is for those students who are studying in 10th, in Government / Aided / Accredited Schools / Kendriya Schools / Navodaya Vidyalayas in Kerala.
• Eligible candidates for 9 classes with more than 55% marks in all non-language subjects can also apply.
• Open Distance Learning (ODL) candidates can also apply, but they need to ensure that they are under 18 years of age.

Note: Once the application form is submitted correctly, an Application ID and Application Number will be allocated to the candidates. The candidates may login the Application Form Editing login by submitting these.
Documents to be submitted Along with the Application Form
With the application form, respective category candidates also need to send the following documents:
- SC/ST/BPL Category Candidates – Attested photocopy of the caste certificate /BPL certificate as proof.
- Physically Challenged Candidates – Attested copy of the medical certificate, from the competent authority ensure that the candidate is more than 40% PH.
Exam pattern for Kerala NTSE 2017
The examination will be conducted in two parts in 90 minutes each.
Part I - Academic Qualification Test (SAT) includes 100 objective types of questions in social science, science subjects and mathematics.
Part II includes mental capacity test (MAT) and language assessment test. I will have 50 questions in the mental capacity test and 50 questions in the language understanding examination (50 questions in Malayalam language and 50 questions in English language). Candidates can choose Malayalam or English for language intelligibility testing.
The score for the language assessment test for the ranking will not be considered. But candidates should have a minimum score of 40% marks in the Language Assessment Test.
All questions in Part II are also of objective type.
Contents included for state-level testing under Part I are as follows:
- Part of the 9th and 10th class of Kerala state course for the current academic year.
- Classes of 9th and 10th class of CBSE course for the current academic year
- Some sections taught in lower classes which are essential for proper understanding of subjects. The question will be of the higher order associated with application and logic.
The candidate should answer Part 1 (SAT) and then Part II (MAT) after an hour's interval.
Candidates can choose English, Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada as the medium of examination for SAT and MET.
