One of the most popular education boards in India is Central Board of Secondary Education. The Board also conducts Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main, which is considered as one of the biggest engineering entrance exams in India; and also All India Pre-Medical Test (NEET (AIPMT)) too for the medical aspirants, which is the biggest medical entrance exam in India. Thus 12th board exams preparation becomes more important keeping the entrance tests in mind. The JEE Main syllabus and NEET (AIPMT) syllabus is mostly the same as CBSE Class 11 and 12 syllabus.

Also in some cases, the class 12 board marks also play an important role in getting admission to some of the prestigious engineering and medical colleges.

Some Tips to Cross The 90% Figure:

  1. The key to scoring good in 12th boards is regular studies and timely completion of syllabus. Try to complete your projects and assignments on the very day they are assigned and get them of your way so that you can concentrate on theory.
  2. Start with the easier topics and proceed towards topics that are difficult to comprehend. With basics brushed up, you will find that even the most difficult topics will melt down to simpler easier concepts.
  3. Keep on practicing the subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry and solve at least 10 to 15 numerical daily without fail.
  4. At least three months before the exam, start focusing on the revision of chapters you already know. Start solving past year question papers and get your doubts cleared by this time.
  5. Many times the CBSE board exam questions are directly picked up from NCERT books. So, it’s necessary that you practice NCERT books more and more.
  6. On the day of the exam, do not panic if you haven’t covered some of the topics well. Most chapters carry less than 4 to 5 marks in the question paper. So, you will still be equipped with more than ammunition to hit off those scores!
  7. Biology students should practice diagrams and flowcharts more and more. Make sure that the labeling is done right and the diagrams are neat and clean. With practice, you can attempt any diagram in the exam without any second thought.
